The "rhinoceros crab" is a small crab named after the horn-like protrusion on the front of its carapace. It is covered in hairs and spines, and located on the Pacific coasts of North America, but is quite rare.
This crab was named after Ilya Voznesensky, a Russian explorer who documented about 400 previously unknown species of plants and animals. He lived from 1816 to 1871. This crab has also been photographed by Neil McDaniel.
